BLACKPINK’s Jennie will not appear in the highly anticipated new variety show “My Name Is Gabriel,” by renowned showrunner Kim Tae-ho.

Broadcaster JTBC confirmed the news on Tuesday.

The show, set to air in June on JTBC, will instead feature a cast that includes top actors and TV personalities such as Yeom Hye-ran, Ji Chang-wook, Park Myung-soo, Hong Jin-kyung and Park Bo-gum.

Kim Tae-ho, known for his work on popular shows like “Infinite Challenge” and “Hangout with Yoo,” is taking viewers on a new journey with “My Name Is Gabriel.”

The program promises to offer a unique experience by having its cast members live and experience life abroad as someone else.

While Jennie’s potential involvement had heightened anticipation for the show, fans can still catch her on tvN’s entertainment program “Apartment 404.” Jennie has recently established her one-person label, Odd Atelier.
